Elan’s Bar Mitzvah: May 1, 2022

Elan’s Bar Mitzvah took place on a brisk spring morning at Beth David Synagogue. We started off with family photos outside. I had a lot of fun with Elan, his sister Jasmine, and his parents. Elan was a pleasure to work with, friendly, funny, considerate, and open to my photography direction. After the family shots, we went inside for the service. Michael Rubin made a welcoming introduction to the 60 or so guests, and the morning service proceeded smoothly. Elan did an excellent job reading his parsha, making his family very proud. After the service, we went next door for a Kiddush lunch. The food was plentiful and delicious, and Elan’s parents spoke lovingly about their son. Mazal Tov, Elan!
