Lucas’ Bar Mitzvah: August 31, 2023
It’s an early morning relaxing drive up north to this synagogue from my cozy downtown home, but I always enjoy it. Virtually a straight line up Bathurst for an hour, but then I am here, at Chabad Romano, ready to photograph a family, their second time around with me, the first being pre-covid. Romano is a beautiful shul, very bright, open, easy to photograph. Lucas was ready to go, we did a little walk around the grounds to get reacquainted with each other, before inviting the rest of the family to join in. We saved the extended family photos for after the ceremony inside against the glass window. The ceremony was lovely, led by Rabbi Shlomo, it all came together beautifully. A delicious meal followed, and we wrapped up the morning with some delightful sibling photos. Mazel tov guys, way to go.
