Jesse’s Bar Mitzvah: May 30, 2024
I met up with Jesse and his family at the Beach Shul, joined by one of my favourite bar mitzvah officiants, Moshe Saadon. We practically took over the place, which was amazing. Jesse was ready for his close-up and made a great subject. Although there wasn’t much around the Beach Shul, we managed to carve out some photo opportunities against the urban backdrop that is the beach. Jesse’s sister took a turn in front of the camera, followed by some shots with his parents and extended family, wrapping up the portrait session, we then headed into the sanctuary for a wonderful ceremony filled with warm speeches and proud parents—the usual mitzvah magic. After the ceremony, we needed some nourishment, so we made our way to the Beach Club just a bit down the road. This venue is fantastic for a party, and it certainly did not disappoint. This is where I made my exit, leaving them to enjoy the rest of their night. Mazel tov, Jesse and family! Way to go!
