Ellis & Hayden’s B’nei Mitzvah: December 19, 2024 (Lodzer Centre)

This was a lovely, albeit, chilli day to have a b’nei mitzvah, but there we were, diving headfirst into the action. I arrived at the Lodzer Centre early in the morning ready to go. I haven’t been back to the synagogue since my nephew had his bar mitzvah here almost 10 years ago so it was sentimental to be back in this space, and here we were.  Enter stage left: one daughter, one son, mom and dad, we were in and out of the cold before you could say b’nei mitzvah, because we had work to do before the ceremony. We wrapped up these early morning photos, and took some pictures of extended family before heading into the sanctuary for the main event. These kids were great, they read from the Torah beautifully and conducted themselves with a charm and grace.  The lovely service came to an end, and we headed up for a delicious breakfast, some speeches, and a general wrapping up of the morning. Mazel tov guys, way to go.
