Annie’s Bat Mitzvah: May 2, 2026
Back with dear friends for round two at the Gardiner Museum, two years since the tri-mitzvah. Now it was Annie’s moment and this one came in hot. We started outside while Toronto decided to remind us it is not quite done with winter. It was cold. Proper cold. We moved fast, in and out, grabbing what we needed before the sun dipped. Upstairs, the ceremony was about to begin, Aviva Rajski, who always brings warmth, energy, and heart, was on hand to deliver this young woman into adulthood. Annie was stellar, poised, confident, and completely present. She spoke beautifully and there were more than a few emotional moments in the room. Candy, hugs, schmoozing, then downstairs for the party. Tiffany from Bounce Entertainment took over and I will say it again, there is no one better for this crowd, the dance floor proved it within minutes. We ate, we danced, we photoboothed, we kept it going right to the end. Mazel tov guys, what a night.
