Allegra’s Bat Mitzvah: June 26, 2026
I have known Yossi for many years, so I was really happy when he asked me to photograph his daughter Allegra’s bat mitzvah, the last one before the summer break. And what a fantastic way to wrap up the season. The celebration was held at New Age Events, with a refreshingly non traditional vibe. There were lots of games and bedazzling, but no dancers or prize giveaways, which made it feel unique and a whole lot of fun. I took Allegra for a little walk when I first arrived, wandering around the front of New Age which, for those who don’t know, is a showroom full of some pretty cool home stuff. We explored until the rest of the family joined us for the pre ceremony photos. Then it was time for the bat mitzvah, and wouldn’t you know it, Yossi was on deck to lead the service. Allegra spoke beautifully, charming, poised, and graceful to a T. After the ceremony, it was all about having fun. Games everywhere, delicious food, an ice cream truck, because apparently there is no such thing as a bad time for ice cream. Just a wonderful celebration from beginning to end. Mazel Tov, guys. Way to go.
