Lily’s Bat Mitzvah: November 16, 2019
Lily’s bat mitzvah was held at the new Habonim Congregation Synagogue, and this space rocks… for photography. It is bright and spacious, so easy to photograph in. I started off photographing Lily, her sister and parents before the guests started rolling in. Rabbi Eli Rubenstein ran the service with humour and style as he usually does, and as usual the wonderful stringwork of Tom Bellman and voice of Aviva Rajsky brought this ceremony home. Lily was great, nervous energy made way for a special, warm connection with all the family and friends that were there. Lunch was delicious while we were entertained by the sweet sounds of King Harvest playing in the background. A great day, guys, Mazel Tov.
