Ethan’s Bar Mitzvah: April 29, 2021
This was a beautiful morning bar mitzvah with a very special young man. We met at the Magen David Sephardic Congregation for a Thursday morning bar mitzvah service. I do love this synagogue; it’s bright and spacious, and holds much history. Ethan was in good form this morning, reading from the torah with ease and confidence. All of us 10 men held court for the service, both minyan and COVID protocols in place. We finished up the service, brought in Ethan’s mom and sister for some fun family photography. Wrapped it up, and the mitzvah was done. Mazel Tov, Ethan, way to go.
