Josh & Karina’s B’nai Mitzvah: May 8, 2021
This was a wonderful way to spend a morning, and a pretty hot one at that. I met these guys at the family home near where I grew up in Thornhill. Josh came with me first for little walk around, getting familiar with the camera. I then took Karina for her photo shoot, different places, different spaces. Finally the family was ready and we all headed into the park for some fun. Back at the home, This ZOOM-mitzvah was pretty intimate; just the family and me, all in the living room, COVID protocols in place. This is the first time I’ve seen a green screen used at a Zoom-Mitzvah, the synagogue was projecting their own backdrop, who knew? Didn’t much help the photography, but that’s not what’s important now is it, it’s all about the family. These guys were great, bonding so well and having much fun. Mazel Tov, guys.
