Asher’s Bar Mitzvah: May 13, 2023

Asher’s Bar Mitzvah took place on a beautiful spring morning at Congregation Habonim. Everyone arrived bright and early looking very sharp and excited for the celebration ahead. We started off with Asher and his sisters outdoors and in the shul reception area. Asher looked very dapper in his blue suit, and all three kids were a pleasure to work with. We then added parents and finally grandparents in the courtyard outside. Following portraits, guests began arriving for the ceremony. Cantor Aviva graciously welcomed everyone and congratulated Asher on his special day. Asher did a stellar job reading his parsha. He made his family very proud. After the ceremony, everyone schmoozed in the reception area. When the tables were set up, guests moved into the Social Hall for lunch. Beautiful, moving speeches were made and everyone enjoyed the delicious spread of bagels, lox, cream cheese, salads, and dessert. A week later when everything had calmed down, I met up with the family in Cedarvale Park for a beautiful family photoshoot. Mazal Tov on a beautiful simcha, guys, way to go.
