Edy’s Bat Mitzvah: December 21, 2023

Edy’s bat mitzvah was the last one of the year for me, and such a special one at that. We met at her grandmother’s condo for a wonderful, warm ceremony in the party room. Edy was delightful. We strolled around outside and braved the cold before enticing the younger brothers to join in, albeit be at a little reluctantly but in the end, it all worked out perfectly. Much nicer to photograph outside than inside, y’know. We added in the rest of the family before heading to the ceremony. What might be a tight space for photography turns out to be a very cosy ceremony for everyone attending… and that is how it was to be. Edy read from the Torah, delivered a delightful and charming speech, the ubiquitous candy was thrown, and we wrapped up downstairs before enjoying a delicious lunch. Tons of kids, family, friends and relatives, everyone schmoozing on a delightful Thursday morning. Mazel Tov guys, way to go.
