Max’s Bar Mitzvah Rehearsal: November 3, 2025
Max’s bar mitzvah rehearsal was just delightful. We headed up to Shepherd where the Darchei Noam is located. It is on a busy suburban street, but we still managed to squeeze in a few classic shots before the rain chased us away. There was a little walkabout, a little hiding under eaves troughs, and at one point we ducked into a parking garage, we succeeded. Excellent times. Eventually we made our way upstairs into the sanctuary for some photos with the Torah. I adore the ceiling in this synagogue, it always puts on a show. A few family photos later and we wrapped up the rehearsal before the main event. We still have one more photo shoot in the park in Spring once the weather behaves.
