Jack’s Bar Mitzvah: Dec 17, 2017<\/span><\/p>\n

Well all good things must finally come to an end, and Jack’s bar mitzvah was one of those good things that closed out my 2017. What a great way to end the year. We had a fantastic three generational rehearsal a few days earlier and then all friends and family gathered for the bar mitzvah ceremony and brunch on the 17th.\u00a0Jack is just an awesome kid who has now become a man. The synagogue, Beth\u00a0David\u00a0Synagogue<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0is such a\u00a0super-cool space to photograph. It is bright and large an\u00a0offers ample opportunity for creativity.\u00a0 Fern Cohen<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/a>, party planner extraordinaire,\u00a0tied the luncheon together beautifully. The speeches were funny, the atmosphere was warm, the music was ‘live’, and it was, in a word… amazing. Thanks for such a nice year-end, you guys were great.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022Advice for Future Mitzvahs: The morning of the event, take a deep breath, know that you’ve done everything you could have to make the event special, and relinquish control to those you hired and entrusted with your event. Worry about nothing – go and enjoy your simcha! Not everything will be perfect – but likely only you will know!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
