Shafer & Brody’s B’nei Mitzvah: September 1, 2019<\/span><\/p>\n

This was a drawn-out event over three days and four locations (because three is never enough). The rehearsal day at the Pride of Israel Synagogue<\/strong><\/span><\/a> was a delight before heading off to the Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/a>\u00a0for some outdoor family fun.\u00a0<\/span>The big day arrived and the boys were in fine form; present and accounted for.\u00a0 <\/span>They were both amazing, of course.\u00a0 <\/span>By the way, the amount of detail these parents laboured over should not be understated, from cakes to candles, kippot to tallisim, everything was taken into account, they definitely brought their A-Game. Ok, back to the mitzvah\u2026 so party we did after the ceremony with Bounce Entertainment<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, with fabulous Carson blowin’ the sax. There was less than 24 hours to rest before hitting the eZone<\/strong><\/span><\/a>\u2026 and speaking thereof, the eZone is one giant kid fun-fest; WhirlyBall, Laser Tag, Arcade, Table Tennis, etc, all the toys that boys (and girls) love.\u00a0 <\/span>We (kids and parents) had a blast…. and that pretty much wraps up two mitzvahs in one, Mazel Tov, guys!!<\/p>\n

\u2022Advice for Future Mitzvahs: “It\u2019s your simcha so do whatever you want. Make it fun. At the shul we had balloons and a waffle station with fun toppings, cake pops, chocolate covered marshmallows with sprinkles and a very creative 3D cake.
