Jonah’s Bar Mitzvah: April 24, 2021<\/span><\/p>\n

Jonah’s bar mitzvah took place at one of my favourite locations, Congregation Habonim<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.\u00a0I love the space, it is both traditional and modern at the same time. The foyer is bright, there’s a fantastic courtyard outback, and the sanctuary is easy ingot a ever.\u00a0 <\/span>Maybe it’s more modern than traditional now that I think about it. Jonah was fantastic, we did a little walk around the shul before heading inside, just to get some outside photos and because it was a stellar day. (Remember, it snowed a blizzard just 3 days ago).\u00a0 <\/span>We headed into the courtyard with the grandparents and a few friends, all the while making Jonah the centre of attention.\u00a0 <\/span>The ceremony went beautifully, with Jonah at the top of his game.\u00a0 <\/span>We laughed, we cried, we candied, we ‘speeched’, we even did a little impromptu dance, all in all, it was a beautiful day.\u00a0 <\/span>Mazel tov, guys.<\/p>\n
