Kara’s Backyard Bat Mitzvah: June 12, 2022 <\/span><\/p>\n

This was my second time around with this family, and it was so special to see them all again.\u00a0 The weather was suspect on this particular morning, which made for some rain avoidance when necessary, but that was not going to dull anyone’s enthusiasm in the celebration of Kara.\u00a0 She was good to go; we did a little walk around the ‘hood, not too far, but far enough to find some interesting places to photograph.\u00a0 Then back home for some family photos before finding our way to the sanctuary \/ tent in which our ceremony would take place.\u00a0 Rabbi Cooper was holding down ceremony duties, and had everyone participating and celebrating.\u00a0 Kara was wonderful, she spoke beautifully and made everyone proud. A little hora at the end was a nice touch.\u00a0 Mazel tov, guys.<\/p>\n
