I met Jules for a early morning photo shoot, the sun shining through the trees, some children playing in the background, but Jules and I were focussed on our task. We wanted fantastic photos before her bat mitzvah later this morning. We wandered around, and snapped away. A short while later, Maddie and Jules&#8217; parents joined us for the remainder of our photo adventure, and we were finally joined by grandparents and cousins. We wrapped up the park and headed back to the family home for the ceremony. Cantor Mel Koenigsberg held down officiant duties with his usual humour and grace. Jules was fantastic, she read beautifully, and gave everyone on Zoom a treat.
