Ruby’s Bat Mitzvah: December 10, 2022<\/span><\/p>\n

So this was my niece’s bat mitzvah, the last one of this family.\u00a0 We had a party for the first, COVID the second, and back to a party for this one.\u00a0 Just a night of fun smiling faces.\u00a0 I took Ruby out into the cold fall evening for some photo fun. We added in a sibling or two, then two parents, and ended up with a lovely dish of in-laws, nieces, and a nephew; let’s call it family.\u00a0 Then the big family joined in and I had to give up my camera, Justine took over. Family photos done, we headed into the inner sanctum of York Mills Gallery<\/strong><\/span><\/a> for the ceremony (got my camera back again… haha). The ceremony was lovely, kind words, warmth and love abounding.\u00a0 Ruby was great. Some after ceremony schmoozing had to be on the menu until it was time to head into the party room where Sole Power<\/strong><\/span><\/a> was waiting to bring the house down. It’s nice to be on the other side of the camera once in a while, so I was one the party goers having a blast… we all did.\u00a0 Some dancin’, eatin’, speechin’, limbo-in’, just another day in mitzvah-land, a fun place to be.\u00a0 This was a great party to wrap the year, mazel tov family.<\/p>\n
