Elayna\u2019s Bat Mitzvah: December 7, 2023<\/span><\/p>\n

Elayna\u2019s Bat Mitzvah was a true three day affair, we started off with an immediate family rehearsal, then into the ceremony, and finally to a party at York Mills Gallery<\/span>. Where to start. Rehearsal with the family is always special. This time of year things are a little chilly but we still managed to pull off a special photography photo shoot outside Beth Emeth<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. I took Elayna for a little walk around, before adding in her sibling [who is a seasoned pro from the last mitzvah] and her parents. We eventually made our way into the synagogue where the Torah was waiting for us. I love Beth Emeth, the stained glass is the best in the city. Fast forward to the ceremony on a Thursday morning, everyone was in great shape to celebrate. A warm and inviting ceremony followed by a delicious lunch. Sunday was, the proverbial cerasus super<\/em>, set aside as the for an amazing party at the York Mills Gallery<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. I love this venue, places to photograph outside while the party is very happy to stay indoors this time of year. Sole Power<\/strong><\/span><\/a> had the music and DJ dialed in, while the delightful Heidi Gruenspan<\/strong><\/span><\/a> brought this event together beautifully. After many days, much dancing, speeches, hora, delicious food, and a fantastic party, it was time to call it quits and to put this mitzvah away. Mazel Tov, guys, way to go.<\/p>\n
