Violet’s Bat Mitzvah: June 20, 2024<\/span><\/p>\n

Violet’s bat mitzvah was a two-part events, both being spectacular. The morning ceremony took place at Adath Israel<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, and the evening party took place in Yorkville at Sassafraz Restaurant<\/strong><\/span><\/a>.\u00a0 This being my second outing with this family, Violet knew exactly what was about to take place and played the part perfectly. We walked around the synagogue, just the two of us, enjoying a fantastic time together.\u00a0 We eventually invited her brother and parents for some fun family time, before the grandparents and cousins entered the fray. We wrapped up this little adventure and headed in to the sanctuary for the bat mitzvah proper. Violet was fantastic, she took a hold of this ceremony and went with it, making us all proud. A delicious lunch followed but what everyone was waiting for was the night party. We met again at Sassafraz in York Ville for a pre-dinner and party photo shoot. I found some cool areas in Yorkville that were unexpected, and Violet and I just had a good time photographing together. Of course I had to stop a couple of sports cars so we could stand in front of them, why else would you drive a sports car slowly through Yorkville if you didn’t want a bat mitzvah kid to stand in front of it and pose. So we did that, and then we carried on somewhere else, and then we went to the rock of course, just had fun photo time. Eventually we wrapped up inside the restaurant with some extended family photos before Magen Boys<\/strong><\/span><\/a> took this party downtown. David Monaco<\/span><\/strong> was on the mic, and you can’t get better. Such a great vibe, perfect energy, kids are generally upstairs while the parents were downstairs in the restaurant, and it all worked out perfectly. Delicious food, fun vibes, a good nights party to wrap up a spectacular bat mitzvah celebration. Mazal Tov guys.<\/p>\n
