Holly’s Bat Mitzvah: November 22, 2025<\/span><\/p>\n

This was a really special night with a truly lovely family. A couple of years ago I photographed Holly’s sister on Queen Street and we had an absolute blast. So when I realized we were back in my neighbourhood doing it all again I was basically ecstatic. It was a chilly fall evening which kept our photography adventure on the shorter side, but honestly it worked perfectly. Our home base was Fat Pasha<\/strong><\/span><\/a> on Dupont where both the ceremony and dinner were happening. Holly and I stayed close and wandered the familiar urban corners I love, this is my neighbourhood after all. We hit alleyways and brick walls and graffiti and staircases and anything else we could find. Every spot worked like a charm. I pulled Holly’s sister in for a little d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu moment and the parents jumped in too. We even squeezed in the extended family as the sun dipped away. Once we wrapped we headed back inside where Fran Sharpe <\/strong><\/span>stepped up to lead a beautiful Havdallah service for Holly. When the ceremonial part was done it was time to settle in for a classic Fat Pasha feast. Amazing food, a warm and joyful family, a special moment for a wonderful young woman. Mazal Tov guys.<\/p>\n
