    Ari & Melanie's Wedding: June 2, 2024

An early summer wedding is always destined to be amazing, and this one certainly lived up to that expectation. I met Ari and Melanie at Beth Tzedec on the morning of their big day. The hustle and bustle had already begun. Part one: reveal the bride? Check. Photos with the bride and groom? Check. Pictures with parents and extended family? Check. With these formalities out of the way, we headed to the Bedeken, where the marriage certificate would be signed, sealed, and delivered—no turning back now.  After wrapping up at the Bedeken, we moved into the ceremony. The crowd eagerly awaited the marriage procession, and a beautiful, warm ceremony unfolded before our eyes—truly spectacular. With the vows exchanged and the ceremony complete, everyone was understandably a bit hungry. Delicious hors d'oeuvres were passed around while the newlyweds enjoyed some private time before the wild celebration began. When the married couple made their entrance, the party kicked off with a bang. Jewish weddings are known for their boundless energy and creativity, and this one was no exception. Hoisting the bride and groom up on chairs, umbrellas, skipping ropes—nothing was too extravagant for these guys to celebrate, the atmosphere was electric.  Delightful speeches followed, and by the time everyone sat down for the meal, it was a welcome break. Weddings require a lot of physical energy, and everyone was ready to refuel. The rest of the day was a beautiful display of love and affection from everyone in attendance. Warm words, heartfelt toasts, and a joyous celebration continued until the end.  Mazel tov guys, I was truly honoured to capture your special day. Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness.
