Ryan & Hailey’s Engagement Party: September 4, 2022 This was part II of what started out at the Four Seasons a few months ago, this was when I hid behind the ‘Marry Me’ sign to surprise Hailey. Well fast forward, and here we are, at the engagement party for friends and family. We all met up at the family home in Thornhill for some schmoozing and snacking before saying mazel tov to the newly engaged couple.  Great to see you again, guys.   The Story of Hailey & Ryan’s Engagement Party: All Photos HERE Ryan’s Proposal to Hailey: All Photos HERE

Debra & Ahron’s Wedding: June 26, 2022 Well this was quite the festive affair, the wedding of Debra and Ahron at Shaarei Shomayim, always a great venue for a wedding. The day started out with these two kids getting dressed, deb had her posse and they took over the brides room, while Ahron was relegated to the… smaller change room. But nonetheless, when it was time to go, The bride and groom were looking fantastic and ready for the day. We had a reveal outside the synagogue, which led into some stellar photos in the garden before adding in the parents and siblings in the foyer of the synagogue. Much schmoozing ensued before the groom was called downstairs for the Tische. …and slowly we moved towards the ceremony which was taking place in the sanctuary of Shaarei Shomayim.  Such a great venue for a wedding, the bima is able to be approached from all sides so everyone’s vantage point is good. Service over, Debra and Ahron escaped for a while whilst everyone made their way into the main dining room. And then it was party all night, an extended hora as is customary, and just fun and games for all. […]

Cayla & Mike’s Wedding: June 25, 2022 This wedding took place in a fantastically stylish Brunswick Bierworks in Toronto one summer afternoon.  Everyone was good to go from the start, I took Cayla and Mike for a little walk around to get some bride and groom photos before the rest of the family showed up.  We then started adding in family members who were along for the ride. Pre-ceremony, there was much schmoozing to be done, of course to the backdrop of delicious finger food and drinks. There seemed to be a natural gravitation outside after everyone had filled their cups and satiated their appetites, and we were good to go for the ceremony. Cayla looks stunning walking down the aisle whilst Mike was pretty sharp himself. A beautiful outdoor ceremony followed which gave way to some heartfelt speeches, laughter, and more delicious food. What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon, guys. Congratulations guys, way to go.   The Story of Cayla & Mike’s Wedding: Selected Photos HERE All the Photos: HERE   •Clothing Bride: The Bay •Shoes Bride: Previously owned •Clothing Groom: Tom’s Place •Shoes Groom: Previously owned       •Invitations: Green Envelope •Rings: Linda Penwarden •Makeup: Bride  •Hair: Donato […]

Ryan’s Wedding Proposal to Hailey: July 16, 2022 Well look where I found myself on a warm summer Saturday afternoon in Toronto, at the Four Seasons Hotel, mind you. I have no idea what room, as I was guided there surreptitiously by Ryan’s mom, very cloak and dagger. So, I find myself crouched down behind three feet bright white letters spelling out, “Marry Me” (you’ll see).  My mission, if I choose to accept it, and choose I did, involved me capturing the look on Ryan’s soon-to-be-fiancee, Hailey’s face, as she did stride into the room… so there I was crouched behind three feet bright white letters spelling out, “Marry Me“.  The backstory, as you might be wondering; how did this all come to pass?  In my frequent communications with Ryan regarding this proposal, we were settling on the perfect plan.  The original script called for Centre Island, Ryan and Hailey sipping wine picnic style, gazing into each others eyes. Me, crouched in the bushes with my trusty Canon 5D mk iv with the long Canon 70-200 f2.8, sniper style, waiting for the perfect moment to shoot. Basically waiting for the ring to make it’s appearance. Well, that did not come […]
