    Marla & Michael’s Wedding: August 5, 2018

Marla and Michael’s wedding was one splendid affair, taking place on quite a warm summer day at the Congregation B’nai Torah in Toronto. The stage was set, everyone was ready. I first met Marla to take some beautiful bridal portraits outside, followed by everybody inside. Michael followed suite with his family and then on to the Tish and Kabalat Panim we went. This is always a very special ceremony in a Jewish wedding, when your friends and family get to wish the new couple mazal tov before the Ceremony, when the groom gets to vail the bride.  This elegant shul makes for a great wedding backdrop, the bimah is central so it can be seen from all sides. Everything went smoothly, rings were exchanged, and off to a delicious lunch we did go.  As with Jewish functions, there is no end to the festivities and shenanigans. The band was amazing, and party planner Alison Marks tied everything together beautifully.  Much fun had by all.
