Jessica & Brian’s Wedding: June 15, 2025
Jessica and Brian’s celebration stretched over two days, both events happening north of Barrie. So yes, there was driving, but that just meant time to crank the tunes and dive into some podcasts. Not a bad way to kick off the weekend. Saturday was all about the family photo shoot at Cottage number one. Just the kids, Brian, and Jessica. Sunshine, laughter, and lots of combinations. We played around with different groupings and just had a blast. Then I zipped back to the city for my daughter’s birthday dinner, only to hit the road again first thing Sunday morning. Back in Barrie, this time at Cottage number two, the vibe shifted to wedding mode. Jessica Baker was on hand to carry this wedding through, and she does a brilliant job every time. Jessica, bride Jessica, looked stunning, fully glammed up. Brian, meanwhile, was upstairs. No makeup. Hair doing its thing. We staged their reveal right by the pool and it could not have been sweeter. Brian’s face when he saw Jessica? The stuff memories are made of. Then came more family photos, kids running around, relatives mingling in the garden. It was sunny, relaxed, and just right. Rabbi Mendel Kaplan from Chabad Flamingo arrived and quickly became part of the household chaos, all while guests gathered under the tent and the ceremony came together. The ceremony itself was lovely. The speeches? Let’s say… thorough, just under an hour, but thankfully timed with salads. Then the real fun began. A lively hora, flying chairs, fast feet, and big grins. The late lunch was delicious and perfectly. I wrapped things up by floating through the crowd, capturing moments, chatting, and soaking in the joy. Mazel tov, Jessica and Brian. That was spectacular.
