\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJill’s 80th Birthday Bash Well this first snowy Sunday in Fall 2025 turned out to be an interesting one, I was asked to photograph Jill’s 80th birthday bash.  Jill’s husband, three daughters and their families all gathered together at their condo to celebrate this special day. It was just a whirlwind of photos, getting ready, laughing, a little bit of rushing, and eventually ending up in Yorkville at Sadelles Restaurant. \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAlex & Jason’s Wedding: September 28, 2025 Well, this was one exciting day in Wedding Land, the wedding of Alexandra and Jason at the Estates of Sunnybrook. A beautiful spot to celebrate an even more beautiful couple.  We met in the late morning as the day began to hum. Hair was being finessed, makeup applied, dresses fitted, bowties straightened, all the joyful chaos of wedding prep in full swing. When the moment came, Jason waited outside for his bride, the aptly named \u201creveal,\u201d when the groom sees his bride for the first time. Just as planned, it was warm, emotional, and over far too quickly.  I escorted the couple into the gardens and we got started on some couples photography before gathering the families for portraits, every combination imaginable. Brothers, sisters, parents, nieces, nephews, you name it, we photographed it. Once portraits were wrapped, we moved indoors for the bedekken, the signing of the Jewish marriage certificate, done just before the ceremony itself.  And with that, they were officially married, save for the gorgeous outdoor ceremony under the chuppah and the wild, wonderful party to follow. \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tJessica & Brian’s Wedding: June 15, 2025 Jessica and Brian’s celebration stretched over two days, both events happening north of Barrie. So yes, there was driving, but that just meant time to crank the tunes and dive into some podcasts. Not a bad way to kick off the weekend. Saturday was all about the family photo shoot at Cottage number one. Just the kids, Brian, and Jessica. Sunshine, laughter, and lots of combinations. We played around with different groupings and just had a blast. Then I zipped back to the city for my daughter\u2019s birthday dinner, only to hit the road again first thing Sunday morning. Back in Barrie, this time at Cottage number two, the vibe shifted to wedding mode. Jessica Baker was on hand to carry this wedding through, and she does a brilliant job every time. Jessica, bride Jessica, looked stunning, fully glammed up. Brian, meanwhile, was upstairs. No makeup. \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAlice & Jared’s Wedding: October 17, 2024 All good things in time, right? And at long last, it was the big day for Alice and Jared to make it official. This wasn\u2019t just any wedding\u2014it was a two-day extravaganza. First up, a cozy, heartfelt ceremony with close friends and family, and then, two days later, the grand finale: a full-throttle wedding bash.  We kicked things off in Scarborough with a civil ceremony, followed by some classic family photos in the park. Mother Nature clearly got the memo\u2014it was a dream day. Picture it: golden fall leaves, a sky so blue it could\u2019ve been painted, and sunshine that was just showing off. Oh, and Alice and Jared? They looked like they stepped straight out of a rom-com. Perfection.  Fast forward to Saturday, and the vibe shifted into full-on celebration mode. The venue? Paradise Banquet Hall\u2014a name that delivered on its promise. Before the main event, I whisked Alice and Jared away for a stroll through the garden (because romantic photo ops, obviously) and then snapped some family pics with siblings and parents. \r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tChris & Jordan’s Wedding: June 15, 2024 Oh, where to begin? This wedding was a magnificent symphony of two incredible families uniting. Honest love and warmth filled every corner, and I can’t imagine a single thing they could have done differently. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing these families before, but this… this was something truly special. So, how did the day unfold? We kicked things off at the Four Seasons in the late morning with some “getting ready” photos. Jordan and her crew were having a blast with hair and makeup, while Chris and his gang were probably just chillin’\u2014as the groom often does.  First up, family photos with Chris, the kids, and parents in the lush garden downstairs. This little green oasis amidst the downtown concrete is one of my favourite spots. Chris and the boys were as relaxed as could be. Once we wrapped, I sent them off to the wedding-house and turned my focus to Jordan. She looked… well\u2026 stunning doesn’t even come close. Radiant is more like it.
