Shlomo’s Wedding Proposal to Aviva: December 22, 2019<\/span><\/p>\n

Well this was an idea dreamed up like in a movie.  It involves many characters, multiple plot-lines, bait, a ruse, and finally the hero prevails.  <\/p>\n

Characters involved<\/span><\/p>\n

Groom:  Shlomo<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Bride-to-be:  Aviva<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Aviva’s friend:  Elkah<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Aviva’s sister:  Yona<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Shlomo’s friend:  Shira<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Photographer:  Jonni<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Goes something like this…<\/p>\n

Aviva<\/strong> drops Shlomo<\/strong> at the airport at 8 AM Sunday morning. She then hooks up with her friend, Elkah<\/strong>, who is getting married next year. Elkah<\/strong> has a fake appointment with me, Jonni<\/strong> the photographer, to discuss her wedding to Menachem<\/strong> next year, and Aviva<\/strong> is just coming along for fun. Meanwhile, Shlomo\u2018s<\/strong> friend Shira<\/strong> and Aviva\u2018s<\/strong> sister Yona<\/strong> pick up Shlomo<\/strong> from the airport and they come to my studio where we block out the scene. Once we have everything figured out, Elkah<\/strong> and Aviva<\/strong> show up to my studio to discuss the upcoming wedding: Yona<\/strong> and Shira<\/strong> hide in my house, Shlomo<\/strong> is in the alley. I say to Elkah<\/strong>, let\u2019s go back into the alley behind my studio and I can get some pictures of you and you can see how things look, and I ask Aviva<\/strong> if she would substitute for Elkah’s<\/strong> husband to be, Menachem<\/strong>.  <\/span>So we head out into the alley behind my studio, to take some photos. Unbeknownst to Aviva<\/strong>, Shlomo<\/strong> is waiting in the alley with a \u2018will you marry me<\/em>\u2019 sign and flowers. Aviva<\/strong> also doesn\u2019t know that her sister, Yona<\/strong>, is in town to witness the whole event. So out back we go, we snap some photos, I managed to get Aviva<\/strong> 3 feet in front of Shlomo<\/strong> facing me with her back to Shlomo<\/strong>, while Shlomo<\/strong> is photobombing the whole thing; Aviva<\/strong> does not know Shlomo <\/strong>is right behind her until I say turn around. From there on, everything just went crazy, tears and laughter. Now that you know the backstory, take a look at the photos.  <\/span>Mazel too, guys.<\/span><\/p>\n
