Marlo’s Bat Mitzvah: 14 May, 2022
This was such a fun morning at the Danforth Jewish Circle. I met the family outside for some family photos. Marlo was totally ready to go as soon as she stepped out of the car. We had our little photoshoot around the Carrot Common, just having, y’know, fun. We then added in a whole bunch of extended family until we were one big happy family. Then inside we went, showtime. This was a pretty special ceremony, very egalitarian, and inclusive. Marlo was amazing; confident and gregarious. We wrapped our ceremony and headed over to Megas Restaurant; Greek cuisine extraordinaire on the Danforth. Some snacks and speeches, a great lunch, and we were done for the day. Marlo, amazing day.
