Ali’s Bat Mitzvah: June 1, 2025
Well, that was one full bat mitzvah day. We kicked things off at 2 o’clock at the Lodzer Centre with some family photos. First on deck was Ali; ready, excited, and all bubbles and smiles. It was clear right away she’s a dancer. We wandered the synagogue looking for cool spots to shoot, and she lit up every photo. Soon we met up with the rest of the gang, one sister, one mother, one father, and kept the session rolling. Eventually grandparents and extended family joined in, just in time for the ceremony. The one and only Arlene Moshe was waiting to take a few photos with the Torah before we got started. Inside we went, and Ali absolutely shone. She read beautifully, made everyone proud, and brought real heart to the ceremony. From there, it was off to Factory Lounge where Magen Boys was setting up. Matan was on the mic, so I knew this party was going to explode in the best way. Schmoozing, hora, heartfelt speeches, dancing, more dancing, and nonstop good vibes. Ali stayed all smiles from start to finish. Her friends spoke with such love, her parents beamed, and she closed it all out with words that were just perfect. What a beautiful mitzvah Sunday, Mazel tov, Ali. You crushed it.
