Sasha’s Bar Mitzvah: Oct 23, 2016

Sasha’s bar mitzvah rehearsal and party were awesome.  He is one smooth dude; the rehearsal was just Sasha and Zoe at Beth Torah casually running through what was to be a fabulous service on Saturday evening.  The party was the perfect combination; intimate in feel and big on spirit.  This boy has moves, Sasha and his posse tearing it up.  As usual, Magen Boys raised the roof on the occasion, the decor looked stunning thanks to Trevor Florence Designs, and the inimitable Fern Cohen brought the whole affair together seamlessly.  Thanks for having me celebrate with you guys.

This was a wonderful way to spend a Friday afternoon with a super nice family.  Photos in a beautiful synagogue and family time in the park.  What a nice way to start the weekend.  I’m sure the Saturday ceremony was flawless.  Thanks for having me along for the ride.

Jeremy’s Bar Mitzvah: Oct 1, 2016

What a larger than life party in a beautiful setting.  The food was fantastic, the Megan Boys had the party going and the energy of the party goers didn’t let up the entire evening.  With beaver tails, cotton candy, basketball and a mountain of cupcakes, I’m not sure anyone went home without a big smile on their face.

Adam’s Bar Mitzvah: Sept 10, 2016

Adam’s Bar Mitzvah party was a blast.  From the portrait photoshoot near The Factory to the mitzvah ceremony and finally the celebration, it was a roller-coaster ride of an event.  These two brothers were made for photos, sharp as they come in those suits.  Rabbi Polansky always provides an inclusive and warm service, and Sole Power rocked the night away.  From Vivian’s (2 Steps Ahead) outstanding party planning to the amazing decor provided by Natalie (S & H Design), the night was seamless.  Made my weekend, thanks for having us capture the night for you.

Josh’s Bar Mitzvah: Sept 4, 2016

This was a fantastic rehearsal, ceremony, and party over the weekend.  Josh, brothers Jonah and Jeremy, and parents Sharon and Rob were all on hand for the festivities.  Josh was amazing, long Saturday service and a shorter Sunday Rosh Chodesh service.  All in all, a great job.  I photographed the rehearsal on the Thursday when we all got to slow things down for the evening before the busy weekend.  And on Sunday, Rabbi Kaplan, I like this guy.  He charismatically brings warmth to his congregation at Chabad Flamingo, great to see.  The party at e-Zone was nothing but fun.  I always like the ‘whirlyball’ to get things.. whirly-ing.  Thanks for having us there to photograph, it made my last weekend before the school year.
