Ana & Gavriel’s Wedding: July 29, 2026 So here we are at the end of July to celebrate the Toronto wedding of Ana & Gavriel. They chose a fantastic day to get married by Toronto weather standards, just spectacular. Toronto had been having a couple of rainy days, so I was very happy to feel relatively stress free for this occasion. We started off with some family portraits in the gardens while Ana was getting ready. The reveal was still to come, so we were just biding our time. Musicians were setting up, the chuppah was being attended to, the food was being prepared, and through it all, Ana was hiding herself from Gavriel… until it was time. Reveal underway, these two were ready for some special bride and groom photos in the gardens. We continued wandering around while the ceremony drew closer. When the time came, we headed inside for the Badeken, the traditional Jewish ceremony that takes place just before the wedding under the chuppah. Everyone looked spectacular, just ready to go. Alex & Jason’s Wedding: September 28, 2025 Well, this was one exciting day in Wedding Land, the wedding of Alexandra and Jason at the Estates of Sunnybrook. A beautiful spot to celebrate an even more beautiful couple. We met in the late morning as the day began to hum. Hair was being finessed, makeup applied, dresses fitted, bowties straightened, all the joyful chaos of wedding prep in full swing. When the moment came, Jason waited outside for his bride, the aptly named “reveal,” when the groom sees his bride for the first time. Just as planned, it was warm, emotional, and over far too quickly. I escorted the couple into the gardens and we got started on some couples photography before gathering the families for portraits, every combination imaginable. Brothers, sisters, parents, nieces, nephews, you name it, we photographed it. Once portraits were wrapped, we moved indoors for the bedekken, the signing of the Jewish marriage certificate, done just before the ceremony itself. Jonni Super Photography: 2017 – The Year In Review What a year it has been!! This was a fantastic year, 2017. I returned from Israel in November of 2016, and relaxed through the new year before diving straight into the 2017 wedding and mitzvah season. I ended up filling the year with projects and client sessions and parties and people and families, and of course, weddings and mitzvahs. This year, I had the honour of photographing over 60 events. Thank you to all of the wonderful clients who made my job so much fun! In addition to the new clients that I’ve had the honour to photograph this year, it is been such a treat to see past families return with younger siblings who are at mitzvah age. It never ceases to amaze me how quickly the kids grow up and change, and seeing them a year or two later is wonderful. I promise to never take for granted the privilege of documenting the special times in these families lives.
