Mara & Josh’s Wedding: Sept 9, 2017 – Camp Arowhon Algonquin Park This was one of my favourite weekends of the wedding season, spent at Camp Arowhon with Mara and Josh as it was their…. WEDDING!!! Mara and Josh make a wonderful couple and this wedding really brought that to the fore. Everyone stayed over in their own log cabin, and made it seem like we were all back at camp again, just like in our teenage years. Canoes were a-paddlin’, climbing ropes a-hanging, you could go anywhere and do anything, unlike actual summer camp :-). The place looked fantastic, all decked out for a celebration to end all celebrations. The morning started with me wandering around camp and photographing whomever and whatever. I made my way to Mara getting dressed and then over to Josh. We had a special reveal on the dock and then crept a way to get some private photos before taking portraits with the family. Finally on to the ceremony… yes, the ceremony. Quite an entrance was made by both parties, one aquatic and the other equine, just your typical entrance, y’know. Nikki & Daniel’s Engagement: Sept 13, 2017 I met these guys in Cedarvale Park to get some pre-wedding shots, the wedding is in about a week we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get to know each other. It was such a nice day in the park, with the puppy in full flight; a whole new world. The leaves had not yet changed but that’s OK, things were still green from the summer. Marisa & Jeff’s Wedding: August 27, 2017 This wedding was beautiful, Marisa look stunning in her wedding dress and Jeff’s cobalt blue suit was striking. With a twinkle in her eye, Marisa’s reveal to Jeff outside Beth Torah Synagogue was truly special. We headed off to a park to get away from the masses and to shoot some outdoor photos, time well appreciated away from the craziness that was to come. Serena & Andrey’s Wedding: August 18, 2017 This was one fantastic celebration at an amazing venue, Casa Loma. Ben and I started photographing in the morning, Serena and Andrey getting dressed and preparing for the day at the Adelaide Hotel in downtown Toronto. We then left downtown and headed to ‘the reveal’ which took place in the lush green gardens of Casa Loma. There were some tears, but that’s expected. The ceremony was rousing and exuberant. I like this minister, he had everyone on their feet clapping and yelling before the couple marched the aisle. After the celebration, the traditional tea ceremony capped off the pleasantries of the evening before a delicious dinner, heart felt speeches, and on to some crazy party action. This was a fantastic start to the weekend, and an amazing party. Thank you for having us photograph and celebrate with you guys. Joe & Elle’s Wedding: August 6, 2016 Ben and I photographed the wedding of Joe and Elle two weeks ago at the beautiful STRUCK Contemporary Gallery in Downtown Toronto. This venue is pretty cool, hip modern artwork on the walls; a site to behold. The ceremony to follow was in Andrew Richard Designs. These kids had a blast. I started out with Elle as she got ready, and then headed over the Joe’s place. The big reveal was just that, a BIG reveal. So cute. We all headed to the Brickworks for some family photos, and then myself, Ben, and the couple retreated into some of the Brickworks cooler spaces. The ceremony and party ROCKED… thanks to one of the most unusual bands I have ever encountered… Jumple. These guys ‘killed’. So, there you have it… a long day and a crazy sweet night.
