Mason’s Bar Mitzvah: October 8, 2026
I love coming back to Beth Tikvah. It’s one of those synagogues with all sorts of interesting places to photograph outside, and I’m always happy to have another crack at it. I started the morning by taking our Mitzvah boy for a little walkabout. He was totally up for the adventure and looked super cool doing it. We wandered around, explored some different backgrounds, chatted away and had a bit of photo fun, all while enjoying that lovely morning sunlight. Then we picked up the rest of the crew, and what a delight they were. Great kids, lovely parents and everyone in a good mood. We had a blast putting together the family photos, and of course, before heading inside, we rounded up the extended family for the obligatory big group photos. Always a little bit of organized chaos, but that’s half the fun. The ceremony took place in Beth Tikvah’s beautiful large sanctuary, and this one was particularly special, a joint grandmother and grandson B’nei Mitzvah. So cool? A delicious lunch and celebration followed, complete with speeches, proud parents, happy guests and all the good stuff. The whole enchilada! Another wonderful morning with a terrific family. Mazel tov, guys! Way to go!
